- The county's Department of Human Resources administers civil service for 121 local jurisdictions, which include cities, towns, villages, school districts, libraries, housing districts and special districts.
- A listing of the American Community Survey Municipal Profiles for Westchester cities, towns and villages. Select a municipality from the list to view its statistical profile derived from official census data.
- Information about the Westchester Municipal Planning Federation (WMPF), a voluntary association of officials representing the county’s municipal governments, zoning and planning boards and land use consultants. Westchester County works with the WMPF to assist municipalities with land use planning and sustainable development while maintaining the character of an area.
