County Maps

Westchester County covers an area just over 457 square miles. Its geographical setting is a favorable one, with Long Island Sound on the east and the Hudson River on the west. The terrain is largely rolling hills, intersected by three main streams: the Croton, Bronx, and Saw Mill rivers.

Westchester County Geographic Information Systems (GIS) develops, maintains, and distributes digital data for the county including a facilities locator, maps, and more. Use our new interactive program, Mapping Westchester County, a one-stop shop for online GIS services for the public. This portal brings together such important programs as the Indian Point Evacuation Plan, Find Your Elected Officials, and the Community Facilities Locator.

The county has 17 districts for its Board of Legislators. Not sure in which district you are located? Check for downloadable and interactive Legislative District Maps based on the 2000 Census.

If you are looking for a Westchester map, the Planning Department maintains a wide array of printed maps and aerial photo-graphs available for purchase and online viewing. Also view or print various detailed data maps of Westchester County from the 2000 Census.

Would you like to know what Westchester will look like in 2025? How climate and economic factors will affect its future? The county created Westchester 2025 - A Partnership for Westchester's Future with its 45 municipalities to explore such questions.
