Learn about Westchester County Parks’ jobs, apply, interview and get hired on the spot at our Job Fair, Saturday, April 29, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Westchester County Center. Job Fair to be held in the Main Hall; parking is free for participants.

Jobs are available throughout Westchester County at our parks, Golf Courses, Nature Centers and Westchester County Center. Job descriptions are available on the County Park's department website.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer said, “The Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation is a great place to work. It allows you to contribute to the community by helping to maintain our parks and bring fun events and programs to Westchester County residents.”

Westchester County Parks Commissioner, Kathy O’Connor said, “We’re gearing up for summer and looking for folks to join our team to help bring programming and events to our parks system for families to enjoy.”

Minimum hiring age is 16; Lifeguard minimum age requirement is 15. In order to expedite the hiring process during the Job Fair, please bring a valid photo ID and Social Security card. Applicants who are 15, 16 and 17 years old will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to complete the job application.

Eligible applicants who wish to enroll in Westchester County Payroll Direct Deposit must bring either a blank voided check or bank issued Direct Deposit Set Up Form, which includes the routing number and account number on the document.
