Westchester County Executive George Latimer was joined by the Westchester County Police Advisory Board Chair Leroy Frazer, Esq. and its members to showcase the work of the Board.  

The Board, which was founded by an Act of the Board of Legislators in 1979, is charged with working with the Commissioner/Sheriff of the County’s Department of Public Safety on monthly activity reports and referral of any Departmental issues.

The Westchester County Police Advisory Board consists of nine members. Six are appointed by the County Executive and three by the Board of Legislators. 

The Board meets monthly. The meeting is open to the public and is recorded pursuant to the Public Meetings Law. Information on the date, time and location of the meeting is posted on Westchester County Boards and Commissions.
