“Today marks the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan.  To my Muslim brothers and sisters I would like to wish them - Eid Mubarak.  I wish joy to all who are celebrating, and I personally am reflecting today on the beauty of the religious diversity in our County. A whole month of fasting reminds Muslims to reflect on those who are less fortunate than themselves and to continue to build and strengthen the new habits that they formed throughout the month. This is a reminder to all of us that people of all faiths and beliefs must stand together to protect and enrich our democracy and strengthen the places we call home.”
