“Here in Westchester, we are proud of our roots – and this month we are proud to celebrate the contributions of our Latino and Latina brothers and sisters to our diverse community. Our County is stronger because of the cultures which comprise it, and this strength through diversity is exactly what our founders had in mind. At a time when forces in our country are attempting to divide us, pull us apart and separate us based on what we look like, sound like or believe in – we must push back and remember what truly makes America the beacon of hope it stands for.”
