Town: Valhalla
Place: Kensico Dam Plaza
Date and time: July 3 at 6 p.m.
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and settle in for a festive evening. The entertainment starts things off at 6 p.m. Fireworks start around 9:15. Free admission and parking; however, parking is limited.

Town: White Plains
Place: White Plains High School on June 30, 2017
Date and Time: June 30 at 6:00 p.m.
Get a head start on Fourth of July festivities at this event that includes fireworks, bouncy houses, food, and music.

Town: Yonkers
Place: Cross County Shopping Center
Date and Time: June 30 at 7 p.m.
Cross County Shopping Center is celebrating Independence Day as part of their SummerFest event series. Festivities kick off at 7 p.m. with a live musical performance by the Broadway Project Band. Top off the night with a fireworks display starting around 9:30. Free

Town: Katonah
Place: Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts
Date and Time: July 1 at 8 p.m.
Whereas many 4th of July celebrations emphasize fireworks first with music as an added perk, this event is the other way around. Enjoy music performed by a 60-piece orchestra of woodwinds and percussion in addition to a fireworks display.

Town: Harrison
Place: Wilding Park
Date and time: July 3 at 9:15 p.m.

Town: Ossining
Place: Louis Engel Waterfront Park, Secor Road & Westerly Road, next to the Ossining Railroad Station

Celebrate the 4th with gorgeous, sweeping views of the Hudson River, live entertainment, and a free fireworks show.

Town: Rye
Place: Playland
Date and time: July 3 at 9:15 p.m.
There are not only fireworks, but fireworks choreographed to music! The show repeats on July 4, and Rye Playland has firework displays every Friday, July 7 - Sept. 1.

Town: Peekskill
Place: Riverfront Green Park Hudson Ave and Rt. 9
Date and Time: July 4 at 7 p.m.
Enjoy a free concert with the Barnstorm at 7 p.m., followed by a fireworks display. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move indoors to the Peekskill Middle School Auditorium at 212 Ringold St.

The Annual Fireman's Carnival runs June 27 through July 5. After a day of carnival fun, grab a spot on the open green fields or along the marina to check out the fireworks show. There's no bad viewing spot for the fireworks that start around 9:30. Free admission; pay per ride at the carnival.
