BridlesideMarch 23, 2017 - County Executive Robert P. Astorino encourages all interested in applying for fair and affordable housing to attend one of the three free informational workshops that will take place in Westchester over the next month.

“These workshops are a great way to understand the fair and affordable housing process and if you are qualified to participate,” said Astorino. “I urge anyone that is interested to attend a free workshop to learn more about these opportunities.”

The three workshops will be held throughout the county:

Informational workshop on fair and affordable homeownership:

  • Monday March 27, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m, at the Warner Library in Tarrytown

The workshops are being hosted by the Housing Action Council, a local housing counseling agency certified by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, and are designed to explain who is qualified for affordable housing and how the application process works. There is no cost to attend any of the workshops.
