Astorino greeted members of the board of the Westchester Library System, library administrators and supporters in the executive offices of the Michaelian Office Building in White Plains on Monday, April 11, 2016, proclaiming this to be Library Week in Westchester.

"We have a great library system in Westchester," said Astorino. "Libraries continue to be the educational, cultural and social hubs of communities throughout the county. The librarians, library staff and board of the Westchester Library System deserve our gratitude and support."

Also in attendance were Director of Teen Services at the Ossining Public Library, Suzy Zavanella, and Joe Bravo of Westchester Independent Living Centers, Inc., both of whom will be honored at the Celebrating Westchester Libraries Breakfast at Tappan Hill on Wednesday, April 13.
