Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino congratulated the Tuckahoe Tigers Cheerleading Team for placing first at the National High School Cheerleading Championship, Senior Rec Division, in Orlando, Florida.
"Not only are the people of Tuckahoe and Eastchester proud, but all of Westchester County joins me in congratulating you on this great accomplishment," County Executive Astorino said to the Tuckahoe Tigers. "These dedicated young ladies have worked hard to gain the national title and I hope they're victorious again next year."
The Tuckahoe Tigers Cheerleaders competed against the nation's top twenty teams and is the first team from Tuckahoe to win a national title.
