“Today’s announcement that the Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council will receive a $67 million award from the state for economic development is great news for Westchester County. Over a dozen projects in Westchester County will receive grants to increase jobs and grow our economy. I’m particularly thrilled that the state has recognized the importance of New York Medical College’s biotech incubator project by awarding $4 million to assist in the development of a cutting-edge shared resources facility."

"As I have said in the past, Westchester is New York’s intellectual capital, and the investments made here play a significant role in the economic growth of our county, region and state. I thank Governor Cuomo and the Mid-Hudson Council for their commitment to these projects and assistance in strengthening Westchester’s economic future.”
