Dominik DiBariJan. 20, 2017 - Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino was joined by ShopRite’s president, Brett Wing, and County Legislators Margaret Cunzio and Francis Corcoran to present a proclamation to 96 year old Dominik DiBari of Briarcliff Manor, a World War II Veteran and a fixture at the ShopRite supermarket in Bedford Hills.

Mr. DiBari, a long-time resident of Westchester, served in the United States Army during World War II. For the last six years, DiBari has worked part-time for ShopRite in Bedford Hills greeting customers and extending a special welcome to fellow Veterans.

On behalf of Westchester County, Astorino presented DiBari a proclamation for his service and his dedication to his community.
