Oct. 12, 2016 - Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino yesterday unveiled plans for a state of the art ice skating facility in the footprint of the soon to be restored reflecting pool at the base of the Kensico Dam.
The outdoor rinks and skating track would be among the largest in the United States, and would make the plaza a year round destination for Westchester residents and tourists from around the region.
